The Irwin School of Irish Dancing offers classes for a full range of skill and competition levels for solo and ceili (team) dancing. Students of the school learn both soft and hard shoe dances.
Classes are held Monday through Thursday evenings, and Saturday afternoon. Dancers typically attend 1 - 3 classes per week, depending on skill level.
Recommended attire for students includes shorts, yoga tights or athletic pants, as well as t-shirts, tank tops or sweatshirts. Jeans are not allowed. For brand new beginners, children may start by wearing running shoes. As your child advances you will want to purchase proper Irish dancing shoes. Dancers are encouraged to bring a water bottle with them to class.
